City Regional Heads Must Apply Out of the Box Thinking

They (regional head) are the frontline in serving people must have ability to think out of the box

Jakarta Deputy Governor, Sandiaga Uno said, the regional heads must be creative and innovative in creating a new breakthrough. It is because they are the frontline in serving people.

They must be able to apply an out of the box thinking in realizing the vision of the mission. Moreover, the challenges ahead are increasingly complex.

"They (regional head) are the frontline in serving people must have ability to think out of the box," he expressed, when he became a speaker in the seminar "Leader with Out of The Box Thinking", at City Hall, Monday (4/23).

He explained it must include three things, namely policies adopted must be based on data and oriented to the community, have a clear target, and sustainable.

"Sustainability, we want Jakarta to be sustainable and eco-friendly," he stated.

He also wants women in the capital can serve as the regional head.

"Jakarta has 44 sub-districts. So we also need women figures to be leaders," he said.
